What are the chances of havein laser eye surgery and suffering no long term effects?

I think not having side effects would be pretty high now due to advancements in technology plus the increase and depth in knowledge about the subject.

I had laser eye surgery over a year ago and it is the best decision I have ever made – I now have better than 20/20 vision. I have suffered no side affects from the surgery and would recommend it to anyone
