laser eye surgery raf

my boyfriend has a lazy eye and wants to get in the raf?

my boyfriend has a lazy right eye, i understand the right eye has to have perfect vision, how can i resolve this? will glasses help or only laser eye surgery etc? any info would be a plus as he is worried it will knock his chances of getting into the raf. thanks x

i have a lazy left eye and i was told surgery was not and option and the eye doctor said that glasses only help if you start wearing them when your like 11 or 12 otherwise he said they kinda don’t matter. he could always force his lazy eye to work by covering up his good one with a patch or something
