My eyes and throat really sore, plus skin on a face is dry?

Could anyone tell me please, what this is.
My eyes really hurt, just when I wake up and when I try to use SYSTANE drops, they don’t really help me..almost no effect. Eyes just feel very tired and dry and hurts a lot. Whenever I feel burning feeling on my eyelids, I use ophthalmatic gel ointment by Allergan..and it seems to help, but eyes still strained and tired anf it hurts to look with no sunshades, so I always wear them.

This is what I would do if you came to my office: Ask you how long have you had this issue, especially the throat and skin issues? I do not know your age, but if you are a woman you many want your doctor to check you out for Sjogren’s syndrome. It is an autoimmune condition and causes VERY dry eyes, dry skin, and a very dry mouth. Do you have dry mouth? I would see an optometrist and tell her/him your symptoms and go from there. Ophthalmologists are great surgeons but optometrists are great all-around primary care eye doctors so go see one and see what they have to say. Also, unless contraindicated medically, begin taking 3-4 fish oil caplets (These omega-3′s help with burning eyelids) per day and up your water intake immediately.
