newest eye laser surgery
laser eye surgery“left” />
my mom won’t let me get laser eye surgery!?
She says that it’s still a new technology and that it hasn’t even been one generation!
It’s not fair!
I called the office place and they said i have to be 17 because thats’ about when my eye stops growing. i’m 16 with birthday in july, so i mean i still have a year!
But she said that surgery could take a toll when i’m like 40…or 50…
is that really possible? I dont want to rule out that possiblity, but i want the laser so much!
she doesn’t want me to do laser, which started like 12 years ago, but she wants me to get the h1n1 flu shot, which came out practically when the actual flu came….
I need some solid facts and argue points! please!
i’m surprised the place would do it for you at 17. most reputable offices will require you to be at least 18 and some won’t even do it till you’re 25 because that is when your eye, in all aspects, is fully developed.
and as for the h1n1 argument, the worst that could happen is that you get swine flu. big deal. i had it in april, and i’m still alive. if your eye is not fully developed when they do this procedure or they do it incorrectly it can leave your vision permanently damaged or even leave you blind.
i would seriously consider it before doing this procedure, i mean you’re only 16. i’m sure its really not that much of a hassle for you to have contacts or glasses. i would definitely wait till you’re older because you may realize that the benefits may not outweigh the risks. look into it more before you pressure your mom into letting you get a procedure done that she is not in favor of.
