can you have laser eye surgery with astigmatism

can I make laser eye surgery if i have astigmatism?

i have astigmatisim in my left eye. i heard a women say that if you have stigmatisim you can’t make laser eye surgery. is this true?? so one has to remain with the glasses or contacts forever??

I don’t think it’s true ! ( I have astigmatism)… Anyway the best is to ask to a real doctor instead of us on here …
