Laser eye surgery for a 13-year old?

My daughter hates keeping track of and taking care of her glasses and is terrfied of justlaser eye surgery(She hates contacts). Is she too young for Laser eye surgery?

LOL, way too young. I was irresponsible at her age, but never terrified of drops. Just got lasik 5 weeks ago.

Take it from me, eyes change up to a certain point in life. My point was 19 years old, and I first got glasses at around 7 or 8 years old. I got lasik at 21, so 2 years after my vision stopped changing. Doing lasik when her vision will just change again is just irresponsible, and there is only small adjustments that can be made after lasik (You can’t just do lasik again over and over if vision changes).

The reason she’s probably dreading taking care of and track of her glasses is probably because…she doesn’t want them. But laser eye at 13…NO. If you are willing to pay for the lasik, just tell her when shelasikinsert age here, I’d recommend 21), you’ll pay for her lasik if her eyes are ready.
