I saw an operation online on youtube , and i FREAKED OUT majorly…

Should i go for it or stick to glasses?

I had it done. I would do it again. Actually, the risks are less than the risks for wearing contacts for a 20 years.

The surgery is painless, and fast. And the give you vallium, so you’re not freaking out during the surgery.

You need to realize that you will probably not get as good of vision as you would with glasses, especially at night. But I think my vision is better than it was with contacts. There are risks and trade offs. You need to do the research and understand the issues, and make a decision based on your values. For me, it was a good choice.
