my eye feels like its burning?
well a little over a week and a half ago i had laser surgery in my left eye because i had a small hole in my retina. A few days after the surgery my eye felt fine, but then about a week later both my eyes started to burn at random times during the day and the only way for it to stop was to close my eyes for about 5 minutes. i went to the er yesterday and they said that my vision is fine and there is no infection, but they recommended me to see a specialist tmrw. what do you think is causing my eyes to burn like this?
I am no expert on eyes but I really doubt your problem has anything to do with your retinal hole lasering. Why? Because the symptoms are in both eyes, and your problem is not the kind to flare up from photocoagulation of the retina. Go to an ophthalmo to have your eyes checked for infections or allergies. The ER people probably just ruled out the worst and most dangerous conditions. It may be something as simple as dry eye… Don’t worry about it.
