laser eye surgery guide

My eye sight power is going up even at the age of 24 years. What should I to make it stable?

I am 24 years old. In the childhood, I did not have eye sight as I got at the time doing 7th standard.When I meet the docter then he told me that by 20 or 21, It would be stable and If I want to get rid of glasses then I can opt the laser or lasik surgery.But, It is still not stable and my power is not -8.0(RE) and -7.5(LE). I getting worried whether it stops or keep on going down. What do I do now as I don’t like being totally dependent on glasses. please guide me as I am totally confused..

Age 24 is only an average stabilizing age. People with high amounts of myopia like yours usually stabilize at a later age because they have a higher inclination or pull towards myopia.
