About laser eye surgery?

I hear a rumour that even after you have had laser eye correction your eyesight can still continue to get worse over time. Is it worth spending all that money for corrections that are only temporary, or is this rumour not true?

1st of all:

everyone needs reading correction at about age 43-45. that will happen regardless of if you have lasik or not.

secondly: most good eye docs wont refer you for lasik until/unless your rx is “stablelasikaning the same rx over & over again. that way you get lasik after you stop “getting worse over time”. if you’re “getting worse”, you’re not a candidate.
