Is it bad to use eye drops too much?

I have allergies and in this type of season they are going crazy. My eyes will get really itchy and I will rub them until they are really red all of the rubbing doesn’t really help it just makes it itchier. So I went and got some eye drops for allergy eyes and they do help but I have been using them quite often lately sometimes twice a day a couple of drops. Is this bad? Can you use eye drops too much? I know you can use nasal spray too much and can become dependent on it.

first of all u should see a doc then unless the eye dps contain cortisone so u can use it safely even up to 5 times no problem but cortisone cause xxs water in eye
