I have “against-the-rule” astigmatism. Would I be a good candidate for LASIK?

I’m looking to get laser eye surgery. So far, I’ve visited two different doctors who’ve given me two different results from my consultation examination. One has told me that I’m NOT a candidate for LASIK due to my “against-the-rule” astigmatism and suggests I do PRK instead. The other doctor’s office says it’s no problem, and that I’d be a perfectly healthy candidate for LASIK treatment. Any advice?
