why are eye glasses best?

i am supporting eye glasses are the best comparing to contact lens and laser surgery
plz give me some points to say that eye glasses are best

I am not sure about glasses necessarily being better than contacts, I think the 2 methods of vision correction suplement each other, there are pros and cons of each.

Some advantages for glasses:

Usually, cheaper.

Simpler/faster to put on/remove.

Better for young children, older people, or anyone who can’t insert/remove contacts

Can get a more accurate correction (but not always)

Offer some degree of eye protection (like from low tree branches, the nibs from other people’s umbrellas, etc).

You can show off your style with some cool frames (although, for some people, they also allow you to show off your complete lack of fashion taste !).

You can get glasses that turn dark automatically when you go out.

You can get bifocals that actually work (they have bifocal contacts, but everybody I know that tried them hated them).

Glasses don’t interfere with oxygen geting to your corneas. If you fall asleep with glasses on, they won’t be stuck to your eyes.

If you get pink eye, scratched cornea, etc, you can still use glasses.

You can use mirrored or tinted glasses to hide that you are stoned.

Glasses are much cheaper than laser surgery and insurance covers at least part of them.

With laser surgery, sometimes your vision continues to get worse, and you wind up having to get glasses again or have the laser surgery re-done.

If they mess up the prescription for your glasses, you can get new ones. If they mess up your eyes when doing laser surgery, you can’t get new ones.

Note that sometimes contacts are clearly better:

If one eye is a much different prescription than the other, there is less difference in size between the two images the brain is recieving. Also, what you see is closer to the actual size.

If you have a really strong prescription, you can get dates.

You can see better if you are out in the snow or rain a lot.

They are more convenient for some sports.

You can get ones that change you eye color, or silly novelty ones that make your eyes look wierd.
