laser eye surgery eligibility

can i improve my eyesight to become a marine sniper?

i havent even gone through basic training yet so this is purely theoretical but i know i want to be an infantryman (rifleman or the like) and my ultimate dream would to become a scout sniper for the marine corps. i realize there are a million variables other than just my eyesight that determine my eligibility but i was wondering if anyone could advise me on possible ways to correct my below average vision in my right eye. i currently have 15/30 vision with the left eye being very good and the right not so much, is a sniper allowed to wear glasses or contacts? and would laser corrective surgery be able to help me? ( i realize laser corrective is extreme im just trying to cover the most effective bases i can think of)

This sound quite stupid but carrots? they improved my vision but if you have 15/30 vision it might not work. Laser surgery might work.
