laser eye surgery advantages and disadvantages

Anyone had Laser eye surgery?

Im considering having laser eye surgery and have been told that best option is to have the Advanced CustomVue Wavefront surgery (lasik). I just wanted to know if theres anyone whose had it and what were the advantages and disadvantages (if any) .
