Notice To Dry Eyes ( Dry Eye Donts)

Firstly, don’t rub your eyes with dirty hands, neither wear contact lenses when eyes are not in good condition. Dirty hands are easy to bring microbe into eyes, leading to eye infection and contact lenses, even those of most most advancement are harmful to the cornea and eye surface, especially when eyes feel uncomfortable.

Secondly, since dry eyes are caused by the lack of tears to lubricate and cushion eye surface, people would mostly apply eye drops to moisture eyes, however, one thing needs reminding is that do not use whitening and brightening eye drops, which contain blood vessel shrinking agent. Whitening and brightening eye drops will cause red eyes, while ease the symptom of dry eyes.

Thirdly, diet constitutes an important element in affecting eye problems, therefore, keep a healthy diet, and do not let your physical condition slip. Fresh and more natural food are recommended, such as vegetables and fruits. As for meat, fish is not a bad choice, since fish contains enough oil one needs. If you do not fond of fish, taking tablets of Omega3, the essential free-flowing oil tears, to make up.

Fourthly, do not make your life fall into a mass, as a good living habit is a key to for the maintenance of a good eye condition. When you work with a computer, be sure to have breaks between whiles, because concentrate too exclusively on the screen will make you forget to blink, thus little tear is provided to keep eyeball moistened. This is the same when you watch TV. Do not stare at the screen for a long time once a while.

Fifthly, do not make yourself into bad mood each day. A good mood is also another key to cure dry eye. Moreover, when you talk with friends happily, the strain and stress eyes feel may not be so pressed.

I went for a eye test today…?

the optician wants me to go back on thursday for more test and so he can apply some eye drops before the test why is this.. is just normal routine I havnt had an eye test for 4 years am 25..

he’ll probally dialate your eyes so he can really examine them. It opens up your pupils (makes your eyes look more black, instead of whatever color they are and they let in light until they undialate) so he can see inside your eye, big time. Maybe because its been 4 years, he wants to examine them more thourghly. I wouldn’t worry about it.

The only thing, if he dialates your eyes, they will be very-very sensitive to light & espically computer screens, I mean..you wont be able to look at it, even with sunglasses on. They say it’ll go away in a couple hours, but it takes quite a few more than a couple hours to go back to normal.

Have the appt done after school, work, whatever, if its after dark; have someone else drive you home-the headlights will murder you!!!
