who should not have laser eye surgery

Why do I see a kind of black fly or a couple of close lines moving across one of my eyes sometimes?
Hi there!
Before having laser surgery, I had seen this kind of fly in my right eye when looking sideways. After the operation it was more noticeable but now that 1 year has gone by, I dont see it always. Just sometimes.
What can it be? Should I worry about? I have heard it also happens to people who have not been operated. Is is true?
Does anyone know? Any advice would be kindly appreciated! Thank you!
Maurechal, you are right. I checked what floaters are on the nhs wesite and precisely it mentions they are like cobwebs and that they are harmless and that the eye gets used to have them and sometimes they cannot be even seen, which explains my comment that sometimes I see them and others I don´t. Thank you!
Floaters are a common and natural occurrence. They are just bits of protein in the jelly part of the eye (vitreous) that cast a shadow on your retina and so can be seen in your vision.
Normally, they are nothing to be overly concerned about, but if you start to see a lot of them all of a sudden, or flashing lights or a shadow in your vision too, then this can be an indication of a retinal detachment and so needs urgent medical attention
