laser eye surgery scar tissue

my wife has diabetes, she has been having a film like vision over her eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

the doctor suggested that she has the laser surgery and it will correct her vision, he said that it’s the only way for her to get the problem fixed, he said that it was scar tissue in the back of her eyes, have any body had this surgery and is it a good one to have and how safe is it? thank you all in advance for your answers.

All diabetic patients should have a check up with ophthalmologist at least once a year. Retinal bleeding and revascularisation (diabetic retinopathy) are dreaded complications of diabetes which can cause blindness. But the good thing is that early detection and treatment can prevent it to a large extent.
I don’t know exactly what the diagnosis was in your case. But if you are not sure take another opinion from a better ophthalmologist. But laser treatment is very good for early treatment of retinal bleeding and Diabetic retinopathy. Don’t delay the treatment because it may cause permanent damage.
