how do i become a female pilot?

Hello. I am considering become a female pilot in the Air Force. I wear glasses and have astigmatism. Is it true the Air Force can pay for my laser eye surgery and on top of that still allow me to be a pilot? How long and difficult is it to become a female pilot? What kind of duties will I be doing? Do you think it’s a bad ass career move? please give me as much info as possible. Thank you

Sorry but bad eyes is problem. BUTTTT!!!!!! Those days is changing now that the real action is in developing UAV pilots. Right now the service is using standard jet pilots for the job. The job of UAV pilots however is leading the service to reconsider the need for a commission & things like eyesight requirements. So while you may not get into flight school, you may have the makings of a good Predator or Reaper driver.
