laser eye surgery nystagmus

Can anybody tell me if nystagmus is curable without surgery?

Just wondering if there is anything I can do to make it stop. I have already had two laser surgeries and was told it would only make me see better, and if my friggen eyes would stay still I’m sure I could tell if the surgeries even worked. It’s driving me crazy, someone help please
I have had it all my life. When I was 3 I had 20/100 (legally blind) vision, and now I have 20/40. So I figure that if it got this much better, I can get it gone..somehow..

No unfortunately. There are a few medications that may help but they wont cure. Gabapentin (Neurontin) I believe is one of the drugs which may help it. Nystagmus is awful! How long have you had it for? Ever figure out what originally caused it?

Unfortunately vision it self is a different mechanism then nystagmus. I’m sorry to hear you have had it all your life. if it isnt that severe again some medications may help. Put probably surgery is your old bet.
