laser eye surgery england

laser eye correction?

I am nearly sixty and thinking of having laser eye correction. can anyone tell me how long the treatment lasts, willI have to go back to glasses again after a short period of time . does the treatment hurt and can anyone recommend a good company to do the surgery. I live in the north west of england. would you recommend it. Many thanks peter

My dad had Lasix done about ten years ago and has never had to wear glasses again. Some people still do not have perfect vision though…he just got lucky. And he was also legally blind before he had it done! He said it did not hurt a bit, he really couldn’t even feel it. The only thing for him was he had to wait until the halos faded to return to night shift (it happens worse at night, especially in the beginning) and he had to use artificial tears to keep the eye lubricated for the first year. Which is not a big deal. He says he wishes he would have done it ten years before he did (even though it was not big then). He loved Lasix. I think many people have positive experiences with it.
