laser eye surgery on

will the canadian forces pay for laser eye surgery.?

im planning on joining the army and i want to become a sniper. but i have bad eyes and HATE glasses. ive heard they would pay for laser eye surgery. is this true? what about the army reserve.

Nope. My husband was hoping they would because he is currently an AVN tech but would love to become a pilot if his eyesight was not so poor. He would also like the surgery just so he doesn’t have to constantly be worrying about his glasses, and contacts dry out his eyes (he can’t wear them at work anyway). There was an email notification sent out from his CO lastlaser eye surgeryt they were considering adding laser eye surgery to their benefits, however it never did happen and probably won’t. And if the Reg Force won’t pay for it, then for sure the Reserves won’t.
