Slept with contact lenses in?

I am usually very good at taking my contacts out before sleeping, but on saturday I just crashed out without taking them out. Now my right eye is bloodshot, it isnt sore just red. Believe it or not its looking better today than yesterday.

I am thinking about getting dome OTC drops, but there is soo many to choose from i dont know what i should get. Do I get ones for red eyes, dry eyes or irritated eyes. I am looking at the optrex stuff.

Has anyone been in this position themselves? Does anyone know which ones I would be best buying?

Any ideas would be great.

I would simply leave your lenses out doe a few days and flush your eyes frequently with previously boiled and then cooled water until they settle.
