Come on! How much longer do I have to wait laser eye surgerypy?

Next year, I’m getting a laser eye surgery that would completely repair my eyesight to 20/20 so I won’t needed glasses anymore. However, this does not repair my genes, which is still defective and recessive. When can I use genetic therapy to correct my defective recessive eyesight gene, as well as to change my two brown eye genes to two blue eye genes so I’ll be blue-eyed instead of brown-eyed?
