laser eye surgery long term

laser eye surgery long term

eye laser surgery?

Are there any long term negative effects?

There are long term effects/risks associated with any surgery. Some of the negative risks for eye surgery are:

-Monovision
-Some patients may develop severe dry eye syndrome.
-You may be under treated or over treated.
-Some patients develop debilitating visual symptoms.
-Some patients lose vision.

In the end it all comes down to making sure you pick the best possible doctor you feel comfortable with, and trusting him or her. I had lasik done last year and it has been one of the best things I have ever done. I included some links that should help you to prepare for the surgery and which will be able to answer any more questions you should have. Good luck.
