My eye doctor told me that pilots?

My eye doctor told me that laser eye surgeryime they wouldn’t let people who had laser eye surgery be pilots. Is this still true?

No. You can be a private pilot with vision corrected or uncorrected to 20/40, and a commercial pilot with vision corrected or uncorrected to 20/20. The only place that restricts pilots with eye surgery is the military, and even they can make some exceptions to the rule.
