laser eye surgery and night vision

Are Orthokeratology / Ortho-K lenses safe?

At the moment I wear contact lenses and/or glasses during the day. I was thinking about trying Ortho-K lenses at night to correct my vision during the day. Has anyone tried these? I am too nervous about laser eye surgery.

It is difficult to answer this question

Reason: Even among the experts, there is no agreement.

Most experts tends to be conservative towards O.K. lens as they do post a higher risk of ocular complications.

I would not try it myself as O.K. practically violates the fundamental concepts of convectional lens fit.

Hope this helps
