Is laser eye surgery bad and will itlasik?

Last year my sister had Lasik eye surgery and she said that it was the best thing she had ever done. I went with her to have it done as she had to stay overnight at a motel and go back the next day to have the doctor check them. She had to wear dark glasses that entire day but we went to a restaurant that night to eat.

She had no pain whatsover and the entire procedure took about 15 minutes. She had both eyes done and did not have any pain then or since then. She does has to use eyedrops frequently as she has dry eyes, but her vision is great and she has no regrets.
