I am a woman of 29 years and wears glasses for myopia, from 5 std. I have -2.5 in both eyes.?

I want to do laser surgery for myopia, my problem .. they say it'll cost around 40,000. so I want ot know if I'll be effective and successful laser operation if i go. Will there be effects secondary or problems later on making laser treatment?
