eye drops sting

my eyes sting very badly when i put my contacts in i clean them thoroughly but am i supposed to get eye drops?

You may need to change contact lens solutions. Are you still using the system your doctor gave you or have you switched to store brands. Some people do better with the Clear Care system. Unlike the others it is a hydrogen peroxide system. It is very important to follow the instructions. Use only the case that came with it. Leave in the case for at least six hours. Don’t put the solution directly in your eye. Failure to follow the instructions will make you realize you just thought your eye burned before.
