blink eyedrops

My eye hurts, read the rest and tell me what to do.?

There is a bump on the inner part of my lower eyelid on the edge. On the outer part if it is tiny white bump. there is only redness where the bump is and it really hurts when I blink. I tried put in eyedrops but it now hurts even more. What should I do? I also wear contacts but they never bother me so I don’t think that they have anything to do with it.

I think you might have a stye. I get them, and they are particuarly annoying, for sure. Here is what to do. Fix yourself a nice cup of black tea, and then put the still warm, damp teabag over you eye, lay back and let it sit there for 10 minutes or so. It will make it feel better. \
Tea is astringent, and while soothing your eye, it will also help draw out the infection of the stye.
