Eye drops to cure cataracts?

I’m 16 and I have recently been diagnosed with congenital cataracts. I have been told about surgery to fix it but I found out that I would have the lenses in my eyes removed and replaced with fake plastic ones. Now this may sound wierd but that really upset me, and I looked around the Internet and found eye drops containing N-Carnosine. Has anybody heared of or know about these eye drops?

I took a friend of mine to have the same job done a couple of weeks ago, she was in the room 10 mins, and fine when she came out, I am having one done shortly! Be careful what you put into your eyes, they could blind you, I am sure if there was such a treatment, it would be used here. Good luck xx
